Strategic realignment (incl. outsourcing) of entire plant logistics; implementation of Lean & Six Sigma tools
Various measures for a significant reduction in operating costs had to be initiated to improve the operating results of a troubled company. At the same time, the heavily fluctuating demand from customers and the consequent high provision of demand and capacity were to be reduced. Lean & Six Sigma methods were used to round off the process change.
