The organization was aligned to be value stream-driven with the goal to increase the profitability of a business unit. For that, a vision and a mission were developed, and the value stream from customer to supplier was outlined. The processes and structures were oriented towards the supply chain. Change management methods were used to be able to convince the staff of the change.

Concept development and implementation for a global supply chain management organization
To increase the long-term profitability of the company, the decision was made to meld two business units of an industrial company. The organization was oriented towards the value stream. The processes and company structures were reinstalled, and the IT landscape was fundamentally renewed.
